Our programs

Support is planned around each person. We work in homes, workplaces, and communities across Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton counties.

Community participation support

Community Participation Support (CPS) gets people out into real places: shops, parks, classes, and neighborhood life. Staff stay with the person so they can try new settings, meet people, build interests, and practice the skills that keep them safe.

A full week is not built in a waiting room. Families and supports coordinators choose CPS when isolation is the problem and independence is the goal. We provide 1:1 and 2:1 community hours as a Pennsylvania ODP enrolled provider in Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.

If community hours on the plan are not actually happening, ask your supports coordinator about a referral to Valley Coordinated Services. Call 610-956-9951 and we will walk you through the next step.

In home and community support

In Home and Community Support is planned around one person at a time. Staff help with choices, routines, and daily tasks at home and out in the community so the person stays in charge of their day.

Generic hours waste a waiver. This service is for people who need hands-on guidance that follows their plan, not a one-size schedule. We keep the focus on independence, health, and the skills that make home life work.

If home support has been hard to staff, or the plan on paper is not showing up in the kitchen, talk with us. We will review the referral and tell you what we can start.

Companion services

Companion services put a trained staff person in the home for supervision and help with activities of daily living, with close attention to health and safety needs.

This is the right fit when someone needs presence and steady help, not a clinic. A companion keeps the day moving, notices problems early, and supports dignity without taking over the person's home.

Families who need reliable coverage at home can call the Allentown office. Ask about companion hours and we will confirm next steps with your supports coordinator.

Employment services

Employment services provide ongoing job support for people in competitive work. Staff help keep performance, skills, and habits on track, solve problems that could cost the job, and teach new tasks as the workplace changes.

A job is one of the strongest paths to an independent adult life. Losing one is hard to reverse. We stay close enough to catch issues before they become a write-up or a lost position.

If someone you support is working, or ready to work, ask us about job support. Call 610-956-9951 and we will talk through what on-site help can look like.
